Juveniles Battle with Air Soft Guns Near Mall

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A group of juveniles suffered injuries or were taken into custody Thursday afternoon after allegedly firing air soft guns at one another near the Valley Plaza Mall.The group of juveniles was then confronted by a group of young adults who started a physical altercation, where one juvenile suffered somewhat moderate injuries and was taken by Hall Amublance to a local hospital.It all started around 4:30pm Thursday in the mall parking lot near the Sears. After the fight, both victims and suspects scattered, making it difficult for police to sort out.
At least four juveniles were injured, three with minor injuries from the air soft guns and the fourth who was the victim of an assault.At least two individuals were in-custody as police officers sorted out exactly what happened in the Target parking lot on Wible Road north of the mall.There were also officers and potential victims and suspects at the Carl's Jr. on Ming Avenue and the GET Bus Station on Wible Road west of the mall.
