Listen up!

Class is in session.

"Unforgvien" is in the books, as WWE served up three silly "scramble" matches for the various heavyweight titles and a brutal brawl between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho. What happened? Thought you'd never ask:

WWE Diva's Championship: Michell McCool (c) vs. Maryse
What Should Happen: I have to pay for this? Short. Lord, let it be short.

What Will Happen: The tradition-rich "Diva's" title as it is, I predict Maryse will win it in her first attempt.

What Did Happen: I'm a fool. It went to McCool.

World Tag Team Championship Match: Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Cryme Tyme
What Should Happen: Rhodes and DiBiase are great. Cryme Tyme is terrible. Only an insane booker would have the trite babyfaces take the titles.

What Will Happen: DiBiase and Rhodes have to retain.

What Did Happen: The bad guys kept the gold. Cryme time, by the way, is terrible.

ECW Championship 'Scramble' Match: Mark Henry (c) vs. Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Finlay vs. The Miz
What Should Happen: In this "scramble" match, if a contestant pins anyone else, he is the interim champ. The man who is the champ after the time expires (20 minutes), he walks away the ultimate winner. Make sense? Hope so. What should happen? Finlay. Give it to the little guy.

What Will Happen: Hardy will prevail this time around and emerge ECW champion.

What Did Happen: Hardy prevailed to grab the ECW gold.

World Heavyweight Championship 'Scramble' Match: C.M. Punk (c) vs. JBL vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane vs. Batista
What Should Happen: Same rules as above, as a 20-minute match crowns interim champions, and when the time is up -- whomever holds the belt is the champ. Boy, they're going out of their way to make Punk look weak. I'd really like to see him beat Batista straight-up to solidify his hold on the belt. But it probably won't happen. What should happen? Have to stay with Punk.

What Will Happen: Punk will retain his title, somehow.

What Did Happen: Actually, Punk couldn't make the match because he was injured by Randy Orton backstage. Jericho replaced him on the card, and won the title.

WWE Championship 'Scramble' Match: Triple H (c) vs. MVP vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin
What Should Happen: Again, same rules as above. It's Trips versus four guys who'd I’d rather see with the belt. At least The Great Khali is nowhere to be seen. As for what should transpire, I'd put the belt on Hardy because it's really his turn. He's paid his dues, and deserves a shot at top. But it won't happen, because "Smackdown!" is moving to another TV network. WWE doesn't believe in unfamiliar champions when moving around the video landscape.

What Will Happen: Triple H will still rule his father-in-law's roost.

What Did Happen: Tripe H retained his title.

Unsanctioned Match: Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels
What Should Happen: This one is unsanctioned because Michaels doesn't have medical clearance for the eye injury suffered at the hands of Y2J. This great feud by these two great performers is why I still watch wrestling. What should happen? It truly doesn't matter, because you're in for a treat, kids. These guys should put on a show of a lifetime. With any luck, they'll battle for a major title down the road.

What Will Happen: Michaels will get the pin, and a small slice of revenge against the evil Jericho.

What Did Happen: It was a great one, and Michaels got the decision -- beating Jericho so badly the match had to be stopped.

A battered Chris Jericho replaced him on the card, and won the title. Bring on Michaels!

And that was it. As usual, my predictions were nearly perfect as I only got two wrong on the night. Don't you wish you were me?

Now it's time to scram, kids, because class is … dismissed!
